Donut Love in Newmarket, New Hampshire, is Now Open

Donut Love has been serving up deliciousness in the form of fresh, handmade, mashed potato donuts on the Seacoast for years. They are the proud recipients of many Best of NH awards, and for good reason. Their creations are innovative and scrumptious.

Donut Love has had quite the history. Husband and wife Mike and Steph Oliveira opened their first Donut Love location back in 2016. Mike is very well-known in the community, as he was a school resource officer in Stratham. He started selling his potato-based doughnuts out of his North Hampton home kitchen.

Five years and a few locations later, Mike and Steph handed the keys of Donut Love over to Goodwin Family Management, owners of the popular Friendly Toast franchise.

Donut Love promised that they would not stray from their award-winning recipes, and that the staff would remain the same. It seems they have kept true to their word. The North Hampton and Exeter Donut Love locations are thriving, and their Newmarket location has just entered the chat.

Fast forward to now. I was grabbing a beer at Deciduous in Newmarket, and to my shock and delight, I saw this right next door:

What rock have I been hiding under? I knew nothing about this new location!

I was curious how "soon" it was coming, and wouldn't you know it, the grand opening is today!

A portion of their grand opening sales will benefit Newmarket Rec and all the wonderful ways they support the community.

I wish the newest member of the Donut Love family great success! I foresee this spot being adored by the Newmarket community, as well as UNH students and faculty.
