Downtown Haverhill, MA Sees Downtown Detours For The Remainder of the Week

It's exciting to see major landscape changes in Downtown Haverhill!  Except for the traffic......

I'm from the Haverhill, MA area and I have to say it IS exciting to finally see a change in the landscape!  The Harbor Place Project replaces a whole city block with old buildings (one of which was uninhabited for over four decades) with newer architecture.

But this week, The Eagle-Tribune says expect delays in that area due to the project. Trafficon half of Merrimack Street is being rerouted from now until Friday while utility work is completed.
