When is the Dr. Seuss Museum Coming to New England?
Raise a glass of moose juice or goose juice because it is official: there is going to be a museum dedicated to Dr. Seuss!
Set to open in June of 2016, plans for The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss include three dimensional scenes from the books, a reading nook, and (by 2017) a recreation of his writing studio.
Theodor Geisel, best known as Dr. Seuss, authored well over 40 books that became staples of childhood for generations of kids. Now, a quarter of a century after his passing, his hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts will play host to the attraction.
The museum will join the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden that has graced Springfield since 2002.
Those visiting the Basketball Hall of Fame or Six Flags New England will certainly need to add this to their itinerary!
