Dropkick Murphy’s are Livestreaming a Concert in Boston to Help Lift Your St Patty’s Day Spirits
St Patty's Day certainly doesn't feel the same this year. All of our favorite pubs are closed and we really shouldn't be drinking green beer at home because alcohol is bad for the old immune system! So what can we do to perk our spirits on this day? According to NewsCenterMaine, the Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys wants to help by livestreaming a free concert tonight at 7 pm. This is the first time in 24 years the band won't be performing for a live audience on St. Patty's Day. This is their way of saying "the show must go on!"
We've heard about sports games potentially happening without any spectators but this is one of the first major events with no attendees due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
