Drugs, Guns and Cash Seized in Sanford, Maine
(Sanford, Maine) - Maine State Police say four men are facing charges after MDEA Agents seized nearly 3 pounds of cocaine and heroin/fentanyl from an apartment on Nason Street in Sanford.
The street value of the drugs is in excess of $140,000, according to police.
Along with the reported drugs, police allegedly seized a handgun, a sawed-off shotgun and over $35,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
Nathan Frechette, 39, of Sanford and three men from Lowell and Lawrence, Massachusetts were charged with aggravated trafficking in a scheduled drug (cocaine). Further charges are possible.
Police have been investigating the case for two months. They say the drugs were brought to Maine and then resold by Frechette in the York County and Greater Brunswick areas.
