The Chief is Boston Bound: Eric Church Sends New England Fans into a Frenzy

If you were to name the top five country artists that people love to see perform live, along with Morgan Wallen and Kenny Chesney, I would say that Eric Church certainly makes the list.

People who love Eric Church LOVE Eric Church. They refer to themselves as members of the Church choir. This is because seeing their beloved chief work a stage for 3 hours straight (Springsteen style) is a religious experience for them. It is not uncommon for members of the Church choir to follow him around the country and catch multiple stops of the same tour. I once talked to a woman who has seen him live 37 times and she is nowhere near done. The Church Choir is a loyal band of brethren (and sistren)

And what a gift he has given his Boston based fans just days ahead of his new album "Evangeline vs. the Machine" being released into the world!

Eric Church is bringing his "Free the Machine" tour to the TD Garden in Boston on September 19th. He's bringing along Elle King!

Tickets go on sale next Friday, May 9th so make sure you save the date and be prepared for the internet to break that day around 10am.

I'll never forget when Eric Church came to Boston in 2019 he drove around downtown the night of the show and handed out pit passes to people on the street.

He pulled right in front of The Harp on Causeway St. I imagine a lot of people were pre gaming for his show. What a nice little treat to have your seats upgraded by the Church man himself!

I love the woman who says "you wanna do some shots? Do you guys have drinks in here?" (points to his backseat) She was ready to rumble.

And some lucky ducklings got selfies with the Chief and made memories that will live on in infamy.

Maybe the Chief will be feeling another pang of generosity towards the people of Boston come September. We can only hope!
