If you’re an adrenaline junkie like me, mark May 3 down on your calendar. The G-Force One is coming to Pease International Airport in Portsmouth.

Seacoastonline.com reports that the Zero-G Experience is a space-like flight where you can experience true weightlessness. The experience is part of a modified Boeing 727, where the company says “parabolic arcs are performed to create a weightless environment.”

So what exactly does that mean? Well, you can flip over and float as if you were in space!

How does it work? Well according to seacoastonline.com, the pilot brings the Boeing 727 up to an altitude of 24,000 feet, then begins to gradually pull up until the plane is around 32,000 feet at a 45 degree angle. During that transition, the passenger will feel a force of up to 1.8Gs.

The plane is then “pushed over” to create zero gravity for the next 20 to 30 seconds. During that time, you’ll get to experience how it feels to be completely weightless.

If you’ve managed to keep all your dinner down at that point, the maneuver is repeated 15 more times, taking about 10 miles of airspace each go round according to Seacoastonline.com.

Worried about bumping into something while you’re floating inside the plane? The Boeing is equipped with padded walls and you won’t be alone. About 15-30 people can try it at the same time.

Portsmouth International Airport Manager Paul Breen tells the news outlet that the airport itself doesn’t have any involvement in this visit, but lets them use the airport and runway.

G-Force will be visiting for only one day on May 3rd. It’s not cheap though! The once in a lifetime opportunity costs about $5,400! If this sounds like a great time to you, you can make a reservation at gozerog.com/index-cfm.
