First Time Ever: Dogs Now Allowed at Certain New Hampshire Fisher Cats Games
With baseball season upon us, more good news is available for you and your good boy or girl.
For the first time ever, your dog will now be allowed to watch the New Hampshire Fisher Cats with you in the stadium, according to the Fisher Cats website.
Although some major league baseball teams have done this before, having the ability to do so for the first time at Delta Dental Stadium is super exciting for New Hampshire dog owners.
I can hear the crowd now: "Bring me some peanuts and bully sticks."
Not every game will be dog-friendly. Currently there are three games set for the branded "Bark in the Park" event, according to the website. As of now, those games are Thursday May 12, Wednesday June 15, and Wednesday August 31.
Perhaps I will bring my two Muppet-looking puppies and deck them out in Fisher Cat gear.
On the "Bark in the Park" nights, only 500 seats will be dog-friendly. These seats are all located in section 115-117. It is well-thought-out, as these three sections are the first three sections from right field.
There will be a private entrance and exit for those with pets. Again, this is well-planned, as the sections allowing dogs are the first three sections by the private pet entrance and exit.
The stadium is taking everything into account by planning hydration stations (water bowls in the stands) and extra doggy bags incase of bathroom emergencies (or as my dogs like it to be called, "potty").
Of course, dogs must stay leashed and abide by all of the other rules and regulations. For more information or to purchase tickets, check out the release here.
I think this is a super cool, fun, doggy-inclusive event that I hope to be at myself. And, my dogs want to go. They told me.
