Five Fun Things to do This Weekend

What's better than starting the weekend early! One of country music's hottest acts who will be in Manchester on Thursday night.

1. Eric Church performs at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester with special guests Dwight Yoakam and Brandy Clark. Good seats are still available for one of this year's biggest shows.

2. Help our friends at End 68 Hours of Hunger this weekend. They have fundraisers scheduled at Walmart in Exeter and at their Pumpkin Patch at the Exeter United Methodist Church.

3. Friday and Saturday, Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth holds its annual Ghosts on the Banke celebration complete with pirates and ghost stories.

4. The University of NH holds is annual Family Weekend this weekend. There's a picnic and pancake breakfast scheduled for you there. It's a great way to reconnect with your UNH extended family too.

5. NH Fish and Game holds its Youth Deer Hunt this weekend. My son did this a couple of years ago and he really enjoyed it. Thankfully, it looks like the weather will be much improved by Saturday. We'll be right here playing New Country all weekend long!
