For the 2nd Year in a Row ATV Festival CANCELLED in Berlin, New Hampshire
For the second year in a row, the Jericho ATV Festival has been canceled according to wmur.com. Now, organizers that have attempted to put together an ATV Festival have been thwarted by a lack of mud, issues with logistics and insurance.
Jericho ATV Festival
The plug was pulled on the Jericho ATV Festival early this year for the second year in a row because organizers weren’t sure where we would be with pandemic restrictions. Members of the Androscoggin Valley ATV Club attempted to put together an alternative event on the weekend of July 30-31 but the event has been canceled. Trail administrator for the club said, “As much as the community loves running through a mud pit if you don’t have enough water the mud is not going to be right, everybody’s going to be stuck,” according to wmur.com.
Festival Fans Don’t Get Discouraged
Although the Jericho ATV Festival has been canceled and the Festival that the Androscoggin Valley ATV Club was attempting to put together have fallen through Berlin, New Hampshire still has plans to hose its annual Riverfire event in October. Hopefully, we get plenty of rain and the trails are full of mud by the Fall. I had planned on looking for a place to rent an ATV to go mudding but I suppose I will have to put that off till we get more rain. It’s not fun unless you can get super muddy.
