From 60’s to Snow: 8-12 Inches Expected All Day Friday for New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts

And just as we're enjoying sand-only covered sidewalks and brown grass. I guess it's no surprise that Mother Nature decided it's time for more snow. She does like to have fun with us, doesn't she?

It's also February, so there's that whole, "we're still in the middle of winter" thing, too.

Even though our weather whisperers are still watching the system, the latest snow storm is on par to cause some tough travel, slick conditions, and lots of snow on Friday in Southern New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and the Boston metro area.

Since I like to do my homework, according to several weather experts with WMUR and WHDH as well as Weather.com and Accuweather.com, our fabulous 50's and 60's weather that we've experienced off and on the last couple of weeks are going by the wayside as this latest snow storm mixed with ice and rain heads our way.

Reports right now indicate that we could see an inch of snow an hour starting before the sun rises on early Friday morning with 8-12 inches, and tapering off by Friday night.

At least that's the plan right now. But, being New Englanders, we know anything is possible in our world of weather.

Snow plows will be out before we even wake up Friday morning treating our roadway, but who knows? Maybe your boss will just tell you to work from home.
