Grand Opening Date for Epic Puzzle and Game Store in Somersworth, NH

A few months back when Omicron swept the nation, I was down for the count! I was stuck inside with nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs and wait for my quarantine period to pass me by. I got to a point where I felt like I FINISHED NETFLIX. There was nothing left to binge. Thankfully, we had visited my favorite puzzle and game store in downtown Portsmouth a few days before the virus reared its ugly head. We were stocked up with puzzles and games, and it truly preserved my sanity during that time.

There is something so relaxing about putting on some music (jazz is good music to "puzzle" to in my opinion), sipping a little wine, and zoning in on a puzzle. Listening to jazz and doing puzzles? 21-year-old Kira would be like: "WHO IS SHE?"

During my quarantine, we completed this puzzle (from Diversions, duh!) which I absolutely love. It now hangs proudly on my wall in a frame. When people compliment it, I get to say "Thanks, I made that!"

Diversions has locations in downtown Portsmouth and South Portland, and they are onow pening up a THIRD location in the Market Basket Plaza in Somersworth, NH!

I could not love this more.

They can't wait to bring their amazing selection of jigsaw puzzles, strategy and family board games, kids games and puzzles, construction toys, arts & crafts, and more to the Tri City.

Diversions is so much more than a game store. They host game nights and encourage people of all ages to unplug and play more all while fostering a sense of community.

According to the post, Diversions is a locally owned and operated small business run by a father-daughter duo and their amazing teams. They have a genuine passion for games and puzzles, and are also passionate about helping people.

They are having a grand opening event at their new store this Saturday, June 25! There will be raffles, door prizes, game demos, and more! Check out more on the Facebook invite.

I love that Diversions has survived and continues to thrive as we transition into this post-pandemic world. Keep up the great work, team Diversions! I can't wait to come visit your new location.
