Here’s What You Can Expect on Opening Day at Fenway Park

If you or someone you know is heading to Fenway Park for Opening Day, here is some important information you need to know:

According to WBZ in Boston, the Red Sox are asking that their fans be in their seats no later than 12:45 on Tuesday, April 8 to enjoy all the Opening Day ceremonies that will get underway at 1pm (first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 2:05pm). The Red Sox are hosting the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Sox will be unveiling their 2018 championship banner, presenting World series rings and raising the 2018 championship flag!

*Gates open at 11:35
*The Boston Pops with conductor Keith Lockhart will perform the anthems, with a fly-over of F-16 jets.
*Hanscom Air Force Base military will line up along the length of the infamous Green Monster
*Members of the Superbowl Champion New England Patriots will also be on hand
