Highest Number of ‘Flu Deaths’ in 16 Years Recorded in New Hampshire

Experts say the flu vaccine was no match for the strain of influenza that hit the Granite Season this season.

There were 49 'flu related' deaths in New Hampshire this season. That's the highest number of deaths recorded since they began tracking 16 years ago. 

The good news is that no cases of the flu have been reported in the past two weeks. If you have ever had the flu, you know how miserable it can be. The fever...the chills...the body aches. I had the flu back in February. You'll never believe what I did while I was sick.  

The bad news is believe it or not, the flu season isn't even over yet. Stay healthy!
