NH's Only IMAX Theater Just Got A Major Overhaul In Hooksett

Movie lovers in the Granite State have a brand-new reason to get excited because New Hampshire's only IMAX theater just got a massive upgrade!

The theater has officially completed a top-to-bottom transformation, making New Hampshire's only IMAX location an even more impressive destination.

"Designed with today's moviegoer in mind, every aspect of the theater has been refreshed to create a more comfortable, immersive, and enjoyable visit." Apple Cinemas said in a press release.

The biggest addition is the debut of ScreenX, which the press release noted is the "world’s first multi-projection cinema format, expanding select scenes of a film beyond the traditional frame and onto the side walls of the theatre to create a 270-degree panoramic view."

WOW! Can you imagine watching a children's film with your kids with that kind of view?

But the upgrades don't stop there.

The IMAX now has a Laser auditorium, offering crystal-clear visuals and immersive audio that take movie night to the next level. And you can sink into their brand new luxury reclining seats.

On top of it all? They've even expanded food and beverage offerings, including a new full-service bar.

The foodie in me just jumped for joy!

"Our goal was to create a theater experience that exceeds expectations from the moment guests arrive until the credits roll," Brian Ballantine Jr, operations manager at Apple Cinemas, said in the press release.

He added, "We've invested in every detail - from premium presentation technology and immersive sound to food, beverages, and guest comfort - to ensure Apple Cinemas Hooksett delivers one of the finest moviegoing experiences anywhere in New England."
