Ideas for New Hampshire School Vacation Week that Aren’t in New Hampshire

Until I moved to New Hampshire, I never knew that school vacation week in the Granite State did not fall on the same week as Massachusetts and Maine.

But because it does, it's a perfect excuse to take a day trip to your north or to your south. Here are some suggestions that you might find interesting. Can you think of any others?

1. Springfield Massachusetts - Gas up the family vehicle and take the kids to the 'Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum'

2. Boston, Ma - The Museum of Science - The MOS never disappoints. There is something for kids of all ages. 

3. Portland, Maine -  Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine. Located downtown it features a wide variety of interactive exhibits and activities for children and families! A new exhibit just opened!

4. Of course if there are skiers in the family, there are many options to choose from. Visit SkiMaine.com for some ideas.
