Shopping at Market Basket is a unique New England experience and not for the faint of heart. If I go on a Sunday I typically sit in the car for a few moments and mentally prepare for what's to come. It is a madhouse, a madhouse I tell you! But you can't find better bargains ANYWHERE. Their catchphrase "More for your dollar" is 100% true.

The Market Basket in Leominster, MA was where everyone in my high school had their very first job. Sparks would fly between cashiers and bag boys, it was a whole thing!

I don't know what rock I've been living under but there is an amazing Facebook page called People of Market Basket. If you're not following them, you should probably start. It's full of inside jokes only we Market Basket shoppers would understand. I love being in on something!
