Injured Seal Discovered in a Seabrook Restaurant’s Parking Lot
Officials at the Seacoast Science Center say they received a call Monday morning alerting them to the fact a young gray seal was in the Brown's Lobster Pound parking lot in Seabrook.
An article in the Union Leader says the seal, which is believed to be only about two-months-old is in critical condition and marine experts are not sure if it will survive.
Officials with the Seacoast Science Center's Marine Mammal Rescue say it appears the little one likely got tossed around during the recent Nor'easter and ended up on ground after one of the high tides.
The seal has been transported to the National Marine Life Center in Massachusetts.
