As we enter one of the most beautiful times of year to be in New England, a major travel website has named North Conway as one of the best places to travel if you want to see fall foliage. TripAdvisor recently conducted a fall travel survey and found that 31% of those polled plan a leaf peeping trip this year.

They came up with their top 10 foliage destinations and North Conway is on the list. Other desirable for viewing fall color in New England included Boston, Portland, Stowe Vermont and Bar Harbor Maine.

Where is your favorite place to watch the leaves turn? I always enjoy sections of the Spaulding Turnpike that are in the more wooded areas. And the Kangamangus Highway is always at the top of people's lists in Northern New England. Is TripAdvisor right, or did they miss something we all should know about?
