A new trailer for the remainder of Dutton Ranch finds Beth and Rip on the offensive. After last week's tragedy, they're taking the fight to the enemy.

  • Episode 5 of Dutton Ranch begins streaming on Paramount+ this Friday (June 5).
  • Last week's Episode 4 was catastrophic for Rip and Beth, as Foot and Mouth Disease wiped out their entire herd.
  • Season 1 is nine episodes and on schedule to wrap on July 3.

The Dutton Rules podcast team is ready to break it down during a live episode on Tuesday (June 2) at 2PM CT. Keep reading or watch/listen later if you can't make it.

Dutton Ranch, Episode 5 Preview

Here is the official description for Episode 5 of Dutton Ranch, titled "Peaceful Find Peace":

Beth offers Beulah a high-stakes deal to secure both their futures.

After a hostile courtship, Beth Dutton and Beulah Jackson might be forming a partnership? That question mark is intentional, because when has Beth ever negotiated for peace without leaving violence in her wake?

A 30-second trailer for Episode 5 previews their tense conversation, but the just-released 90-second long trailer for the remainder of Season 1 is what really caught our attention. It looks like all theories were correct about Beulah Jackson, and then some.

Rip Takes Over the 10 Petal Bunkhouse

Both videos show Rip strutting into the 10 Petal ranch bunkhouse and telling all the cowboys they have 10 minutes to pack up to leave. Foreman Chet challenges him, as if that's a fair fight.

The surprising part is that it looks like this move has Beulah's blessing.

Several clips show Beth and Beulah getting along. They take a private flight together, and she defends her move to bring Beth into the family business to Joaquin.

Beth, however, doesn't know what she's gotten involved in.

Several new characters are introduced in the longer video, including a man likely to be Mariano, the guy Beulah talked to on the phone during Ep. 3.

Viewers have had serious concerns about if the Jacksons are running drugs, and one clip seems to confirm it.

Amid all of that, Rob Will returns, but here's the real surprising part:

Rob Will might end up being a good guy. Blink and you'll miss his tender scene with his daughter, Oreana.

Overall, he looks sober and clear-headed — heck, maybe Everett was right when in Ep. 4 he doubted whether or not Rob Will had turned all the way bad.

Meanwhile, Carter looks to be in big trouble. For the third time in five episodes, he's talking to the sheriff, but now he's being interrogated at the county jail after a pretty violent arrest.

Oreana is nowhere to be found this time, which begs this question: Is Rip and Beth's adopted son involved with the show's main plot at all?

During Episode 4, he spent a day with a local rancher named Dwight White that ended after a bizarre scene involving a leopard. The Dutton Rules podcast team hopes that action falls into place this week.
