Today is a great day!

Why?

Because we love being able to announce all of the major country concerts coming to Maine and we have the pleasure of announcing another one this morning.

Billy Currington and Kip Moore will be at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on July 24th.

They’ll be joined by special guest Kenny Whitmore.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 27th at 10 AM

About Billy Currington

He is an American country singer-songwriter signed to Mercury Records Nashville in 2003.  He has released eight studio albums and earned 20 Top 40 hits, including 11 No. 1 singles such as “Good Directions,” “People Are Crazy,” and “Do I Make You Wanna.”

Born and raised in Georgia, he moved to Nashville after high school to pursue music, working various jobs before landing a record deal. Currington has also written songs recorded by George Strait and others and founded Global South Relief to aid Central American communities.

About Kip Moore

Kip Moore was born in Tifton, Georgia in 1980 and learned guitar in college before briefly living in Hawaii and moving to Nashville in 2004.  After years of songwriting, he signed with MCA Nashville and broke through with “Somethin’ ’Bout a Truck,” which led to his 2012 debut album Up All Night, a major success for a new male country artist.  Moore co-wrote all its songs and later wrote for artists including Thompson Square and Frankie Ballard.  He followed with albums Wild Ones (2015), Slowheart (2017), and Wild World (2020), plus acoustic EPs and updated releases through 2022.
