One man has been killed and a woman taken into custody following a deadly crash that happened on New Hampshire's Interstate 93 late on Friday night.

According to reports from WGME 13, State Troopers received reports of a crash on I93 in Sanbornton on Friday night at around 10:28pm. When Troopers arrived at the crash they found one of the vehicles about 20 feet down an embankment off the side of the highway.

Responding officers say that 24-year-old, Gabriel Anthony, of Pittsfield, New Hampshire, had broken down and was out of his car standing next to it. At that time, another car driven by Kristina Perry, 38 of Franklin, New Hampshire, struck the victim and killed him, the news station reported.

Police then arrested Perry on suspicions of operating under the influence. A crime police say likely led to the crash in the first place. Perry is currently being held without bail and is expected to make her first appearance in court on Monday.

WGME reports that one lane of Interstate 93 was shut down for about 6 hours following the Friday night fatal. Gabriel Anthony was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gabriel Anthony's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
