In Bangor, we look forward to summer for several reasons, but we want to highlight a couple right here. Firstly, it’s a welcome break from the generally cold, miserable winters, bringing us better weather to enjoy. Secondly, we eagerly anticipate the summer concerts at the Maine Savings Amphitheater on the Bangor Waterfront.

And this summer’s concert lineup on the Bangor Waterfront is shaping up to be better and better by the day.

2024 was a banner year for concerts in Bangor, with big names in country music like Lainey Wilson, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Megan Moroney, and Post Malone performing at the Maine Savings Amphitheater. Last year set a high bar for 2025, but with the lineup announced so far, it looks like we’re not just meeting expectations—we’re surpassing them.

Not only was last year a fantastic summer for country music in Maine, but it also featured several rock shows that, well, truly rocked the Bangor Waterfront.

These included performances by Godsmack, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Hozier. This year is shaping up to be just as amazing, with the Goo Goo Dolls set to return to the Maine Savings Amphitheater after performing there in 2023.

And if we’re being honest, the people of Bangor are fortunate to have a venue like the Maine Savings Amphitheater.

Not only does the Maine Savings Amphitheater attract big-name, renowned artists, but concert days also bring a surge of tourism and foot traffic, providing a significant economic boost to local businesses. This combination of great music and economic benefits makes it a win-win for our Queen City of the East and our Pine Tree State as a whole.
