New Survey Shows Infidelity Is a Big Issue in New England
Infidelity dates back to the Romans, if not further. It's nothing new to people, but what may surprise you is that a new survey shows infidelity his high in New England, except for one particular state.
High Infidelity in New England
A new survey from NapLap asked Americans if they have ever cheated on someone or been cheated on. The results were tallied nationwide, and 84.7% of Americans have been cheated on, and 34.2% have cheated on a significant other.
What's surprising to me is that five New England states are listed in the top 20 of states where people are most likely to have cheated or been cheated on.
Hawaii is at #1 for states, with 80% of people having cheated, while 97% of people in Kentucky said that they have been cheated on.
When it comes to New England specifically, five states rank near the top of the list:
#2: Rhode Island 62.5% (tied with Louisiana)
#5: New Hampshire 50% (tied with Wyoming)
#7: Maine 46.6%
#14: Vermont 40% (tied with Connecticut)
Massachusetts is way down on the list at #40.

As for New England states, results from those who have been cheated on by a significant other, here's where they landed:
#9 Maine 93%
#30 New Hampshire 83%
#33 Rhode Island 81%
#48 Vermont 66% (tied with Connecticut)
#50 Massachuettes 65.7%
That's quite a swing for the New England states compared to those who have been cheated on by a significant other.
