Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse Annouces the Lineup For 93rd Season

This is the 93rd season for the Ogunquit Playhouse and it's going to be epic.

The 2025 season kicks off with the critically acclaimed musical "Come From Away," starting in May for four weeks. It's based on the amazing true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the Newfoundland town that generously and warmly took them in after the attacks of 9/11.

From classics to premieres, the Ogunquit Playhouse has it all in 2025

The Ogunquit Playhouse Executive Artistic Director Bradford Kenney told Seacoast Online,

This is my 20th season, and I could not be more thrilled going into another excellent summer featuring beloved shows and a new work.

That new work is the premier of 'When Elvis Met the Beatles'. The world premiere happens at the Ogunquit Playhouse on August 28 and runs through September 27. The play is based on the real-life meeting between Elvis Presley and The Beatles in August 1965. It's set in Elvis Presley's Los Angeles mansion on the night of the secret meeting. Of course, there will be hits from both Elvis and The Beatles.

What other awesome plays will the Ogunquit Playhouse have for the 2025 season?

The timeless classic 'Guys and Dolls' kicks off the summer from June 19 to July 19. Then there is a new version of 'High Society,' the Cole Porter musical based on the beloved play 'The Philadelphia Story.' This production though will blend humor and elegance set to the timeless music. The last show of the season is the huge musical 'Titanic' from October 2 through November 2.
