Dunkin' Silent Disco

Last month, the first Dunkin' Disco rolled through Maine, with the party being held in Bangor, Maine, at Maine Savings Amphitheatre. The night ended up being a huge, insanely fun success, with tons of Mainers showing up to show out.

If you're curious what exactly a Dunkin' Disco party is -- it's actually the quietest party you'll ever experience in your life, because it's a Silent Disco party.

Silent Discos have actually been around for a while, but have just recently started becoming mainstream and rising in popularity. A Silent Disco is really no different than any other party -- there's a DJ, there's dancing, there's neon lights, etc.

The only difference is the party doesn't happen on gigantic speakers set up on a stage, but instead in your individual pair of wireless headphones on your head.

What's the point?

If there's no massively loud noise being blasted out into the public, you're not breaking any noise ordinance laws, which means you can keep the party going late into the night and after the usual shutdown hours.

The Dunkin' Disco at AURA on Wednesday, July 26, is going to be loaded with activities in addition to dancing to some killer music, including a glitter wall, a 360 photo booth, a bubble wall, and an insane amount of Dunkin' schwag.
