Seriously.

Who. The HELL. Even THINKS to do something like this?

Because not only is this along the lines of the old trick or treating stories you'd hear about back in the '90s of worrying about finding razor blades in your Halloween candy, or some urban legend along the same lines...

But put quite frankly and bluntly, this is absolute EFFED up.

Lickee's and Chewy's Dover, New Hampshire

Nevermind the fact that Lickee's and Chewy's in Dover, New Hampshire, is run by a staff that are just solid, good human beings to their core, and nevermind the insane array of candy selection.

Do you know what makes Lickee's and Chewy's such a special place? It's like our own little Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory that's not a pipe dream, but an actual accessible place.

A place like Lickee's and Chewy's is one of those "happy place" spots that just brings happiness and wonderment to children, and can easily take full-grown adults back to their childhood days.

Which makes what just happened all the more infuriating.

Lickee's and Chewy's Candy Incident

A post tossed up on the Lickee's and Chewy's Instagram page just minutes ago shows a picture of a single packaged "AirHeads" with a single pin pushed all the way through, with the sharp end exposed.

The obvious, malicious intent of this entire incident is some absolute sucknugget hoping that an unsuspecting customer would reach for the package and stab themselves in the hand and become injured in some way.

All for just entering a local, small business that they love and not just supporting their sugar craving, but supporting a crew that has done amazing things on Washington Street.

To partially quote a bit of what the staff at Lickee's and Chewy's said about the entire incident:

Please have respect for what [they] have created [there] or stay home....
