Blue Angels Are Returning for the Great State of Maine Air Show in 2026

If you were in the Brunswick area on Monday, November 24, you might have heard a massive roar from the sky.

Wondering what that was? Turns out, it was one of the Blue Angels on a test run because they will be coming to Maine in 2026.

The Great State of Maine Air Show announced on Instagram that the high-flying jet team will be returning to the Pine Tree State next year for the air show.

When Is the Great State of Maine Air Show in 2026?

According to an Instagram post, The Great State of Maine Air Show will be back on July 11 and 12, 2026. It will once again take place at the Brunswick Executive Airport.

The last Great State of Maine Air Show was in 2024 and featured the Thunderbirds as the lead performing act.

This time around, it looks like the Navy-based Blue Angels will be front and center in their blue and yellow F/A-18 Super Hornets, which previously flew in the Maine air show back in 2021.

Can I Buy Tickets to the Great State of Maine Air Show 2026?

If you're already chomping at the bit to buy tickets to the air show, you'll have to hold on a little longer.

The Great State of Maine Air Show website has just some basic info about the 2026 event, but things like other performers and acts, as well as ticket prices, etc., aren't listed yet.
