Here Are the 10 Static Display Aircraft You Can Walk Up to at the Maine Air Show 2026

The Great State of Maine Air Show is back in Brunswick for 2026 on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, featuring the Blue Angels, the RAF Red Arrows and many more taking to the skies.

To add to that aviation excitement, there will be a number of static displays (aircraft on the ground) that you can walk right up to and see in person.

That means you can get up close to the massive C-5M Super Galaxy or the versatile Black Hawk helicopter.

What Static Displays Will Be at the Great State of Maine Air Show 2026?

According to a press release, the Great State of Maine Air Show in 2026 will feature static displays showcasing a "diverse selection of military aircraft representing airlift, training, utility, and rotary-wing missions."

You'll be able to see front-line military aircraft, modern aircraft, and even some that were used back in the day.

When Is the Great State of Maine Air Show in 2026?

The Great State of Maine Air Show takes place on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, at the Brunswick Executive Airport in Brunswick.

Numerous air shows have taken place at this site, most recently in 2024 and earlier in 2008, when the airport was the Naval Air Station Brunswick.

Can I Buy Tickets to the Great State of Maine Air Show 2026?

You can still purchase tickets to the Great State of Maine Air Show for 2026, but it is important to note that all tickets are purchased online only. There will be no walk-up tickets.

Additionally, the air show website states that the event will be cashless.
