Former WWE Star Visits The Red Barn Restaurant in Augusta, Maine
It's not quite officially summer yet but people have been piling into Maine for a taste of what a relaxed vacation feels like.
That includes celebrity visitors. Maine has seen quite a few in recent years, including a visit from music star Sam Smith just a couple of weeks ago.
Now, central Maine gets their turn hosting a celebrity guest as a former World Wrestling Entertainment star and true "monster" decided to feast at one of Augusta, Maine's most popular restaurants.
Braun Strowman Devours Piles of Seafood at the Red Barn in Augusta, Maine
If you're unfamiliar with Braun Strowman, he spent more than a decade as one of WWE's largest and most intimidating competitors. Strowman was dubbed the "monster amongst men".
Strowman was listed as 6 feet 8 inches and 385 pounds during his WWE run. When you're a large man, you can consume large quantities.
That's what Strowman did during his visit to the Red Barn in Augusta, Maine, over the weekend.
Strowman raved about the seafood chowder, calling it the best he's found anywhere. Strowman also declared the fried scallops to be worth a road trip.
But Strowman centered his praise around the Red Barn's lobster roll as well as how Maine seafood just "tastes different".
Braun Strowman Has a Food Show on the USA Network
What is unclear as of this writing is whether Braun Strowman (real name Adam Scherr) was simply visiting the Red Barn in Augusta, Maine, for leisure or filming an episode of his USA Network show.

"Everything on the Menu" with Braun Strowman had a successful first season on the USA Network. The show follows Strowman as he visits eateries across the country and attempts to eat everything on the menu.
Season 2 of the show debuted this month but does not offer a full episode listing of where Strowman visits.
