Jake Owen Chats With NH Morning Show About His Hatred of Socks

It was so fun catching up with the man, the myth, the legend, Jake Owen! He has been doing the damn thing in country music since the early 2000s, and continues to crank out hits that we LOVE to play on 975 WOKQ. We are so excited to welcome Mr. Owen to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom this Thursday September, 22. According to Ginny Rogers, the last time Jake graced us with his presence in Hampton, he headed over to Sea Ketch after his show and whooped it up on the deck until the wee hours. Ginny was there, and said it was a grand ole time.

I asked Jake all of the burning questions we're dying to know. Does he brush his teeth in the shower? Is he a sock, sock, shoe, shoe, kind of guy or a sock, shoe, sock, shoe, kind of guy (SPOILER ALERT: the answer is neither. He's a barefoot kind of guy. I also got to talk to him about the video he posted on his Instagram of him dressed as a dinosaur performing a Hank Williams Jr song called "Dinosaur" for his daughter Paris, who looks like she couldn't care less:

How funny is that?! I've watched it at least 22 times.
