Professional Golfer Keegan Bradley Returns to New England With Newburyport, MA, Home Purchase

The Seacoast is home to a few celebrities that come and go. Some grew up on the seacoast, others have second (or third) homes on the Seacoast.

Jimmy Fallon, for example, has a vacation home on Lake Winnipesaukee. Drew Barrymore also vacations in New Hampshire frequently.

Well, last year, professional golfer Keegan Bradley bought a home in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and you can expect to see him all over the Seacoast.

Keegan Bradley, who has six PGA wins, has deep ties with New England. He grew up in Woodstock, Vermont. He moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in 2001, as his father was the club pro at Portsmouth Country Club.

He is famously known in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, where he led the Hopkinton High School Golf Team to a State Championship in 2003.

Since becoming a professional golfer, Bradley has been pretty vocal about moving back to New England.

"I can’t tell you how excited I am," said Bradley, according to a New England Golf Journal article. "I’ve missed (New England) so much."

Since he missed New England so much, Keegan and his wife Jillian bought a house in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Why NBPT? Well, his family is here. Both Keegan Bradley's mother and sister live in Newburyport, and his wife's family is only two hours from the Seacoast town.

So if you are a golfer, be on the lookout for Keegan Bradley at any of the Seacoast's best courses like Portsmouth Country Club or the Golf Club of New England.

And you can probably count on the Bradley family walking around downtown Newburyport, Massachusetts, having dinner and drinks this summer too.
