Get Ready: Superstar Kenny Chesney is Returning to New England
We've been waiting for this announcement and sorely missed a live No Shoes Nation show this past summer, but it's happening.
Country superstar Kenny Chesney has just announced his "Sun Goes Down Tour 2024", and yes, he's coming to Gillette Stadium on Friday, August 23. Sure, he usually plays two nights, but let's get the first one sold out.
Here's what the laid-back, island loving, good-vibes star says about the name of his tour next year. “I wanted a name that suggested – obviously – when all the good stuff starts to happen. The one thing I’ve learned about No Shoes Nation and these stadium shows is they start the good times early and they just keep it going, But we all know, when the sun goes down, that’s when people really get loose and enjoy themselves".
Chesney has picked excellent tourmates too, including the Grammy-winning Zac Brown Band and hot new artist Megan Moroney, plus his #1 duet partner, Uncle Kracker.
All of these acts are fired up to join the stadium parties, and ready to bring on the summer in a way only Chesney and his tour can.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 17, at 10am for the 18 stadium shows announced. The Foxboro show will be the 22nd show at Gillette Stadium, and is a venue record. The tour is again presented by Blue Chair Bay Rum.
If you're looking for a great island vibes with fun people and good times, this is the one show you cannot miss.
