Kenny Chesney’s New Music Video is Filmed in A Very Familiar Massachusetts Spot
According to WickedLocal.com, the one and only Kenny Chesney recently spent a couple days filming the music video for “Knowing You” in Gloucester, Massachusetts! It was released on Friday, March 12th.
The video is shot beautifully with views of the jetty and the Eastern Point Lighthouse in Cape Ann. The imagery switches back and forth between New England and his other favorite place, St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands and there is even a scene where he is performing in a New England bar. The article states that the video was shot in a four or five day span, two days in Gloucester and two or three days in St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Kenny said this video was an absolute blast to make. He wishes he could be out on the water and call it work every single day.
We know how much Kenny loves New England. He AWLAYS makes sure to perform at Gillette Stadium when he is on tour plus he has a song called "She's From Boston". But apparently the country superstar is fond of Gloucester in particular. The article claims that he made it a point to visit Cape Ann's Marina Resort in 2019 because he's a "Wicked Tuna" enthusiast. Who isn't?! He's also a fan of the Mile Marker One restaurant and spent at least an afternoon there on the deck drinking rum.
With a tour scheduled to kick off in just a few months, we can't wait to hear Kenny perform “Knowing You” live at Gillette Stadium. He will be with Florida Georgia Line and Old Dominion Aug. 27 and 28th!
