Merrimack, New Hampshire Ice Cream Favorite King Kone Is Closing For The Season This October
I've already confessed how soft serve is my go-to summer treat! And I'm never quite ready to say goodbye to it when summer starts winding down... I may need to squeeze in one more cone before a local favorite closes for the season!

Merrimack's King Kone Ice Cream stand has announced on social media that October 4th will be its final day of the season, giving you a few more weeks to get your favorite soft serve fix before the windows close for the winter.
And if you’ve never stopped by King Kone, there’s a whole lot of history behind that cone we all love and enjoy!

Known for their large portions and low prices, King Kone first opened in Merrimack in 1972 and since then has been serving the community for more than five decades. According to the business, it has remained family owned and operated while continuing to serve fresh soft serve.
One customer wrote on social media, "best ice cream flavors, they change so you never get tired of them, and always top quality!"

What makes King Kone even sweeter is the generations of memories attached to the place. King Kone says, "parents and grandparents now bring their children for the same ice cream experience they enjoyed when they were kids".
