The frontman for one of country music's most successful acts is going to relase a solo album next year.

Charles Kelly of Lady Antebellum announced yesterday that before the band goes back into the studio in 2016, he will cut tracks for a project that won't include his band mates. Charles tells People Magazine that the moves is designed to "get him out of his comfort zone".

Charles made it a point to say that this does not mean the end of Lady Antebellum by any means. Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood both gave thumbs up on the move, and the band will record a new album before it goes back on tour next spring. No release date for the album has yet been set.
