When a random thought pops into my head, I turn to AI or Google for an immediate answer. So this morning, when I was craving pancakes, I happened to Google where the largest pancake in New England was...
And what I found was even better than I could have imagined.

Now, when I wanted to find out where the biggest pancakes were in New England, I was looking for a breakfast place - an actual restaurant.

But I did not get a restaurant in the Google search. Instead, I found a story of the largest pancake known to be created in New England...and it was massive.
In 1984, a 20-foot-wide pancake was made in Vermont. For reference, that is the same size as a traditional school bus. The 20-foot-wide pancake was larger than a Giraffe is tall.
What is more impressive than the 20-foot-wide pancake is what went into creating such a massive flapjack.
According to a UPI article, 800 pounds of pancake mix and 100 gallons of milk were used to make the monster pancake.
A crane was used to cover the pancake, and a helicopter was used to flip it - how cool!
After many of the 500 spectators had eaten a little, the leftovers were given to local cows.
