Last of its Kind Brigham’s Store in Massachusetts May Close Soon

One thing that 2K and I have in common is that we both grew up in the Boston area, so a huge bit of nostalgia came roaring back when she told me of the last Brigham's ice cream shop of its kind about to close in Arlington, Massachusetts.

When I was growing up Brigham's stores were everywhere and one of them could have possibly been an after school hang out of yours. Earlier this week,  Blogspot ran a story about potential changes coming to the last Brigham's holdout. The Brigham's company was started in 1914. Wikipedia reports that at one time there were over 100 Brigham's stores throughout the metropolitan Boston area.

While 2K was telling me about al of this, she also told me how she oce worked for Brigham's, but only for a day. If you ever run into her have her tell you about that, it's a great story.
