Latin Dance Class in Portsmouth, NH, Benefits Ukrainian Refugees
Fluere dance is a relatively new Latin dance company that was started 4 years ago in hopes of promoting Latin dancing in the Seacoast area. Fluere (Latin for 'Flow') is meant to encourage full enjoyment and immersion in the flow of life and dance.
Nina El-Badry is the Founder and Team Director of Fluere Dance Company. Her parents immigrated from Moscow, Russia many years ago, and she currently resides in Kittery, Maine. Nina and her family have many Ukrainian friends and relatives, and feel a great deal of pain over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
In addition to Nina, Fluere Dance has members from many international backgrounds. The dance company wants to help the people of Ukraine by doing what they love the most - dancing!
On Saturday, April 9th, Fluere is hosting A Dance for Ukraine benefit from 11am to 3:30 pm at the Spinnaker Point Recreation Center at 30 Spinnaker Way in Portsmouth, NH.
