New Hampshire Neighborhood Welcomes Letters to Santa With North Pole Drop Box
This time of year brings a lot of positivity around the world. Christmas, or whatever holiday you celebrate, brings communities together.
Whether it is putting Christmas lights up for your neighbors to see, or bringing your neighbor a plate of cookies, for me, December always makes me proud to live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Like many, I am a part of Facebook groups in my area: pick up soccer in Portsmouth NH, the "forgotten NH" page, and even a few local neighborhood pages in my town.
Well, I saw something heartwarming on a local neighborhood Facebook page that made me really proud to live in Portsmouth. The neighborhood/page was "Pannaway Neighborhood."
Letters to Santa Drop Box in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
A few neighbors got together to make a "letters to Santa" drop box. Obviously, the letters head to the North Pole.
Rumor has it that some elves...older kids from the neighborhood...will be responding to all of the Christmas wishlists.
This is amazing.
First off, what some of the adults in the neighborhood did is so cool. To the neighbors in Pannaway Manor - outstanding job.

Even if people do not participate in the writing of the letters, seeing a "letters to Santa" / North Pole drop box is a really fun way to bring the holiday spirit to everyone in the neighborhood.
To the elves (and parents of the elves) - wow. It is so amazing to see neighborly Christmas spirit from adults to teens to small kids (and everything in between).
Again, thank you to the neighbors who made this happen. You make me proud to live where I live.
