Live Country Music Coming to the Strand in Dover, New Hampshire

We love The Strand in Dover! It is an iconic theater in the heart of Downtown Dover that has been brining live theater, music, comedy, and dance to the Garrison city for generations. They were actually kind enough to let me try stand-up comedy for the first time there. I am not sure I am allowed back after that fatal attempt at comedy, but I sure appreciate them letting me give it a try.

This weekend, some amazing rising country artists are bringing Nashville to Dover, New Hampshire. Chris Moreno and Boston Music Award Winner Country star Annie Brobst will be taking the stage on March 24, 2023, at 8:00pm for Country at the Strand.

Chris Moreno is a Boston native who relocated to Nashville to pursue a career in music. He describes his sound as "pop and rock inspired country music"

Chris is super excited to come home for a week and perform for his people: NEW ENGLANDERS!

Spoiler alert: At this show, Chris will be reuniting with his original Boston band members Rod, Jonathan, and Eric, who will joining him on stage. They will be playing all of their hits, and even a new song that has yet to be released.

Annie Brobst is the 2022 New England Music Awards Female Performer of the Year Winner, and a dear friend of WOKQ. We have been fortunate enough to have Annie perform at many station events over the years.

We're hoping Chris and Annie will take the stage together for a few songs because they would sound AWESOME together. Fingers crossed!
