I am a HUGE ramen enthusiast. There are some days when all my heart wants is a big salty bowl of soup. Sodium levels be damned! Since moving to Portsmouth, I always just pop over the bridge to Kittery to Anju when I am craving ramen. It's a mere 10 minutes and really not a big deal. Unless of course you get stuck there while the bridge is up, then it turns into a whole thing. But I digress!

Last year I stumbled on this sign announcing a new restaurant called Chef Huang's Asian Kitchen opening on 2454 Lafayette Rd:

Asian Fusion is my absolute jam. They will have everything from...

Crab Rangoons...

...Spicy Tuna Rolls...

They have been working so hard to get the restaurant customer-ready, and have been hiring for all positions including cooks, hostesses, servers, and bartenders. Staffing is a nationwide struggle right now, and something tells me that might be a factor in why Chef Huang's opening was delayed a few times.

They have been updating us every step of the way. Look how fabulous it looked a month ago!

I love how each table is elevated and sectioned off. It feels fancier and private that way.

And now, the moment we've all been waiting for...Chef Huang's Asian Fusion hit us with a GRAND OPENING date (drum roll, please!).

OMG! What will I order first? Ramen? Lo Mein? Bubble Tea? I think I'll go with D, all of the above.
