With so much hate in the world right now, acts of kindness like this are beyond important.

The Cotoni family has been through a lot this past year. Their son Brandon who is in 2nd grade was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma.

Between chemotherapy, radiation and several surgeries, it is easy for this family to feel like they are going through this hard time alone.

Well, the Lunenburg Community changed that. On Sunday, 8/20 they held a lemonade stand to raise money for the Cotoni family and Brandon's medical expenses. Hundreds of people showed up and so far they have raised around 1,500 dollars!

Brandon's mother Jen said she is completely overwhelmed by the amount of support from their community.

I am from the next town over from Luneburg, Leominster, and am so proud to see the community uniting to support this family when they need it most.

Those who weren't able to attend the event can feel free to donate here.
