Maine Rescue Dog to Make TV Debut as Part of Animal Planet’s ‘Puppy Bowl’
While the New England Patriots try for their 6 ring during the Big Game on Sunday, February 3rd, a New England rescue pup will be making her television debut as part of Animal Planet's 'Puppy Bowl!'
The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland marks it second-straight year as part of 'Puppy Bowl.' Flora, who at the time of taping was 20-weeks old. She is a Staffordshire Terrier and Boxer mix who will be part of 'Team Fluff, who will battle for the trophy against 'Team Ruff!' This year's starting line-up is quite impressive with puppies from all around the country.
'Puppy Bowl XV' will air on Animal Planet, Sunday, February 3rd beginning at 3pm. Plus, if this year is like other years, there's something for cat lovers too!
*Fun Fact - Since the 'Puppy Bowl' is taped in advance, all the dogs you will see have been adopted into their forever homes!
