Massive Traffic Delays as Trash Truck Catches Fire on I-95 in Greenland, NH

A truck hauling a load of trash caught fire this morning causing miles and miles of traffic delays this morning on I-95.

The northbound lanes of Interstate 95 were slow from the Hampton toll plaza all the way up to the accident scene by Route 33 in Greenland, New Hampshire.

Crews had the two right lanes blocked for several hours today as crews cleaned up.

I usually head into work via Route 1 (Lafayette Road) but decided to take I-95 north today. Not one of my best ideas! I was about 25 minutes late for work and I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

Right now, there's no word on what caused the truck to catch fire and it's unknown if the driver or any other occupants of the vehicle sustained any injuries.
