Mazzaglia Trial To Resume Monday [NEWS]

(Dover,NH) - The Seath Mazzaglia murder trial will resume Monday in Strafford County Superior Court in Dover with the defense begining to present its case.The State rested its case Thursday afternoon after presenting 30 witnesses over a 17-day period. Among the last witnesses was Melissa Marriott, the mother of Elizabeth Marriott.
The state has charged that Mazzaglia strangled Elizabeth Marriott to death in his Dover apartment and that he and his then girlfriend, Kat McDonough, dumped the body in the Piscataqua River in Portsmouth. The body has never been recovered.
The jury will get a 3-day break before returning to the courtroom Monday morning at 9:30.
