Kenny Chesney brought his tourmate Miranda Lambert onstage during his tour's opening stop this weekend for a crowd-pleasing duet of his 2010 hit "You and Tequila."

Fans went wild for the rendition featuring Lambert, who filled in for the song's usual duet partner Grace Potter. Screams and applause were heard throughout the stadium as the pair took centerstage. Lambert's voice beautifully complemented Chesney's to create an on point melody which could send shivers down your spine.

The "Noise" singer took to social media to let the crowd know their cheers had his approval.

Chesney's headlining Spread the Love Tour kicked off this past weekend at Auburn University's Jordan-Hare stadium. Old Dominion and Sam Hunt will join Chesney for the stadium trek, along with his duet partner, Lambert.

“Miranda was such an awesome addition in Chicago,” Chesney says. “When I was thinking about what I wanted to do this year, how to keep the energy we had and give the fans something truly great musically, she just made sense. She’s a songwriter, a great singer and she loves music every bit as much as I do. In a stadium, those things matter.”

The tour will spend the summer playing cities all across the country before wrapping up at the end of August in Foxborough, Mass. Chesney is also slated to headline the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival, which takes place June 10-12 at Hunter Mountain in upstate New York.
