Multiple Missing New Englanders

Lately, it seems like at least once a month, we either find out about a local Mainer going missing, or someone missing somewhere in New England that could be in the Maine or New Hampshire area.

In fact, that statement is legitimate. Back in July, Goffstown, New Hampshire teen Veronica Landry was reported missing (and despite tons of searching, there's no update provided on whether she was ever found or not.)

In August, a Freeport, Maine man, Seth Vosmus, went missing after last being seen in his kayak. Sadly, his body was found in New Gloucester not too long after he was first announced missing.

Back in September, it was another resident of Freeport, teenager Theo Ferrara, who was reported missing after last being seen leaving his home. And heartbreakingly, much like Seth Vosmus, Theo's body was found a couple of days later "in the ocean."

And last month in October, Raynham, Massachusetts teen Colleen Weaver was reported missing after last being seen at her home in the middle of the night. Thankfully, Colleen was found safe just days later in New York City.

Samuel Mugisha Missing from Portland

And that brings us to present day, in November, where there's yet another missing person to report.

Yesterday, the Portland Police Department officially put out a Silver Alert for 21-year-old Samuel Mugisha, who was last seen leaving his home on Auburn Street in Portland last Friday morning, November 4, around 8a.

According to Portland PD, Samuel was last seen wearing a brown khaki hoodie, brown khaki pants, and brown leather dress shoes. He stands 5'11" tall and weighs around 200 pounds with short black hair, brown eyes, and facial hair on his chin.

One thing to keep in mind if you see or come across Samuel, according to the Portland PD, he can experience severe cases of anxiety that actually leave him unable to verbally communicate. If you're anywhere between Portland and Westbrook, keep your eyes extra peeled because Samuel has been known to walk all the way to a family member's home in Westbrook from his Auburn Street home in Portland.

Portland PD urges you to reach out to them with any information you may have at 207-874-8575. If you'd rather remain anonymous, you can leave a message on the Crime Tip line at 207-874-8574 or text PPDME and your message to TIP411 (847411).

Let's make sure Samuel is found and returned home to his family safe and sound. This is happening WAY too much lately.
