Moe's Italian Sandwiches Opening Soon in Newington, NH

Moe's Italian Sandwiches has some exciting news for New Hampshire with the opening of a new location.

The sandwich spot will be taking over a former TD Bank at 2033 Woodbury Avenue in Newington, which is replacing the recently closed (and just down the road) Moe's in the Mobil gas station at 1980 Woodbury Avenue in Portsmouth.

And what's extra exciting is that this new place will be debuting very soon.

When Is Moe's Italian Sandwiches Opening in Newington, New Hampshire?

If you're craving some Moe's Italian Sandwiches, you won't have to wait very long for the 16th location in Newington.

Owner Cheryl Pagano, the granddaughter of Phil "Moe" Pagano, who opened the first Moe's in downtown Portsmouth in 1959, said on a call that the new spot is projected to open in early May.

So be on the lookout for an official grand opening date soon. It's nearly here!

What to Expect at the Moe's Italian Sandwiches in Newington, New Hampshire?

Pagano shared that it's exciting to be opening the Newington location, which is "exponentially bigger than the little [Moe's] spot in the gas station on Woodbury."

She noted that even with all the extra space and more available seating, the vibe and look will be, of course, Moe's.

As for something new and different? Because this new Moe's will be at the former TD Bank, some have wondered about a possible drive-thru option.

Pagano said that while the main focus is just getting through all the steps needed to open the Newington spot, down the road, ideally, there would be an option to order online and pick up in the drive-thru.

What a great, convenient addition that could make.

Where Is Moe's Italian Sandwiches Located?

While you shouldn't have to wait too much longer to check out the more expansive Moe's location in Newington, there are 15 other spots across Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire to get your Moe's fix.

Those places include Sanford and Berwick, Maine; Newburyport, Massachusetts; and Concord, Dover, Durham, Exeter, Lee, Manchester, Plaistow, Raymond, Rochester, Seabrook, and Portsmouth, which has two spots.
