More Details Emerge in the Timberland Murder Case in NH
More details are emerging in the death of a 46-year-old Timberland employee.
According to Seacoast Online, the victim has been identified as Catherine Heppner of Exeter.
Authorities have arrested 20-year-old Robert Pavao of Berwick Maine.
Unionleadercom is reporting that Pavao was working as a security guard for Timberland and Lindt, which are both in the same industrial park.
According to unionleader.com, there is no connection between Pavao and Heppner. Pavao had only been employed for about 4 months, and seacoastonline.com reports that the two did not know each other.
Pavao has been charged with two counts of second degree murder in the stabbing death.
A spokesman for Heppner’s family tells WMUR that they “are devastated and stunned”. They continued, "she was an energetic light of the family…and a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and colleague.”
Seacoastonline reports that Heppner worked as a director of marketing for Timberland for the last five years.
This is still an active investigation between the Attorney General’s office, State Police, Stratham Police, and the State Police Major Crimes Unit.
